Within Her Hands

In wings of flight she comes to you
To keep you safe and warm
The beauty of the heart of love
Where angels do belong

She wants to shelter you from pain
Help you with this loss
The hurt that you are feeling
She knows how much the cost

Knows you're full of sadness
Wants to ease your strife
Always keep you sheltered from
The pain you feel in life

She intercedes to God above
Sends a special prayer
Asks His help in sending down
A shawl for you to wear

Jesus would you come inside
The heart of this my friend
I can't seem to console her
This sadness has no end

I try with all I have in me
To keep her safe and warm
But Jesus it is now with You
Her heart is so forlorn

Tell her it will be all right
This sadness goes away
Touch her soul dear Jesus
Forever with her stay

She is just so lost for now
Within her chambered heart
No room to have some happiness
Her life so torn apart

Hold her close for now Dear Lord
I place her in Your keep
Let her know while on this earth
Your angels give her peace.
