Lying Here

Lying here next to you
in the mornings blush of dawn
hearing the pulsing of your heart,

our tender love's perpetually new;
zealous like the surging sun,
rising each new glorious day;
When the sun begins it's descent,
our love has only just begun.

Burning intensely with each embrace.
Kisses lovingly seared upon flesh,
loving words uttered affectionately
leaving a contented smile on my face,

and intensifies the gleam in my eyes.
Intimate moments shared with you,
touching expressions of our love,
constant and true, knowing no demise
